Currently, it is the only musical show presented in Europe, dedicated to one of the icons that the Tango genre has provided to universal music, known by various nicknames such as the Zorzal criollo or the dark-haired man from Abasto: the great CARLOS GARDEL.
The universal figure of Carlos Gardel continues to be an enigma. As the Argentine writer Ernesto Sábato reflected, Gardel is "the Man from Buenos Aires", but he is also a living memory in each of the cities he visited and in the recollection of his tangos and his prodigious voice.
Who doesn't have a memory of a melody on the radio, a movie, a record at their parents' or grandparents' house, a relative who emigrated, that leads them to Carlos Gardel?
In a cohesive narrative where the complicity between dancers, musicians, and the singer is essential in each musical scene that will showcase pivotal moments in Gardel's life. It will be complemented by a grand stage production, special effects, and even the voice of Gardel himself on stage, to delight the audience who enthusiastically follow this musical tale from their seats.
