Desconcerto begins with the surprise of a group of musicians in front of a full theater, unleashing a whirlwind of melodies that range from opera to pop, hip hop, and classics by Vivaldi and Beethoven, even Michael Jackson. In this dynamic show, 12 musicians chase their conductor on stage, entangled in romances and creating music with unusual objects like bottles and typewriters. Breaking with convention, Desconcerto offers a gestural theater full of action, where each movement tells a story and music becomes the true protagonist.

Desconcerto is the second project of Jordi Purtí and Orthemis Orchestra (New Chamber Orchestra of l'Empordà), after the great success of Concerto a Tempo d'Umore. A show that fuses classical music with a modern staging, combining the dynamism of gestural theatre with the rigor of the great composers of the history of music. It is a quality meeting between music, theatre, humour and emotion of spectators of all ages and cultures. Puzzled, he has been the winner of the Young Audiences Music Awards (YAMAWARS) 2021 for Best Large Format Show and the Audience Award, the Special Choice of the Parents of the IV Big Kids Festival and the Fetén 2022 Award for Best Show With/ Certain Humor.

*YOUTH CARD: Rate applicable to young people aged 14 to 30 who are in possession of the Youth Card. Documentary accreditation will be required and show such card at the entrance of the theater, otherwise, you can not benefit from such a discount.
