Claudia is an actress who is doing well. Very well. However, she feels that she still hasn't landed that great role that could make her career soar. Until one day, luck knocks on her door: one of the greatest directors is going to direct his last movie, and the main character was written with her in mind. However, the character has a disability, and before making a decision, the director wants to see her.
Claudia has three weeks to prepare for the audition, and she comes up with an idea: reconnecting with Gloria - her cousin with Down syndrome. They grew up together, but Claudia disappeared overnight to pursue her dream, and she believes Gloria hates her for it. Her agent thinks it's crazy, but Claudia asks him to trust her. Something tells her it has to be this way.
Claudia reunites with Gloria after ten years of absence, and her fears instantly fade away. Gloria welcomes her with open arms. Gloria does theater in the neighborhood leisure group with her flatmates, Alberto and Emilio, who dream of someone discovering the talent they believe they have and taking them out of their routine lives. The group is led by Juan, who also has a disability and knows well the fame and its consequences: he could have been a star at one point. But one day, Juan left everything without giving explanations and returned to his neighborhood. Since then, Juan is not the same in the eyes of others. Juan is wary of Claudia. He senses why she has returned and does not want Gloria to suffer.
The group is rehearsing a new play, a very particular version of The House of Bernarda Alba, and Claudia offers to act with them, pretending to also have a disability. Juan reluctantly agrees, compelled by Gloria's and the group's excitement.
For Claudia, all the pieces seem to fit. However, not everything will be so simple. Claudia will delve into a world far from the superficiality of the capital, where only honesty matters. The rehearsals of the play, her unresolved past with Gloria, Juan becoming a mirror of her own existence, the pressures from her agent, and the audition that could determine her fate will make Claudia reconsider what true success in life really means.
